Game Preview: Redskins vs. Eagles

Have to agree with Bulldog. Smashmouth on offense. Make them work for it on defense. For the love of all that is holy don't let Vick get the easy stuff.

Wow, that stat about our previous 3-1 starts really puts things in perspective, and should temper any over-enthusiasm. Look how many times we ended up with either a losing or average record by the end of the season after such a start. And it's only been since 2005 that we ended up 5-11, after starting 3-1.....that's going 2-10 over the next 12 games !!!!

2008 8 8 0 Missed playoffs

2005 10 6 0 NFC Divisional Round

I am not afraid. We can, should, and will win this game.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

The Eagles are not a physical team any longer. This team has morphed into a finesse team that can be pushed around up front on both sides of the ball. THAT is where to beat this team.

It's great the team has a running back and glittery wide receivers.

Seen that combo elsewhere.

Won't win anything without a strong OL and DL.

Frank Gore was right on the mark - hit the Eagles in the mouth and take the fight out of them is the way to play this team.

This is a week to trot out Ryan Torain and run the ball 25 times. Use Helu as a receiver and on the edge.

Sit Tim Hightower and let his shoulder improve.

This is almost verbatim what I wrote in Matt's thread. Ride the Gravy Torain, baby!
