OK, so his birthday was yesterday and I forgot to post this then. I am friends with DG on Facebook and he posted this tidbit there so I don't think he would mind me posting it here. I know that some stars have their publicists or the like handle these situations, but here's what was said.

He says he thinks he may be the fastest 50 year old man in the world having run the 40 in 4.43 yesterday.

Still faster than most DB's in the league and probably WR's. Lets bring him back!

How about we sign him for preseason and have him just return punts. The fans would flock to the stadium and some of the gate proceeds plus his preseason salary could go towards his Youth Life Foundation. How cool would it be to see a 50 year old who still runs a 4.43 forty return a punt for a TD? Ah well, just a thought. :)

On uStream with his son I heard him say he might be helping the DB's out this offseason.

The legacy of Beathard's best acquisitions is their amazing longevity as top athletes.

Green played 20 years at the most physically challenging position on the field.

But then there is also Art Monk who played 14 years, Monte Coleman and Raleigh Mckenzie who played 16 years, and Joe Jacoby who played 13 years in the NFL.

D.G is one of my all time favorite Redskins It was a head shaking experience watching him play, a truly astonishing athlete, which he still is-IMO, one of the greatest ever to play the game. Happy b'day Darrell. :)

We are all excited to experience the announcement of draft selections IN REAL TIME TOGETHER. If you feel the need to be the first to 'blurt out' the team's picks you are better off staying out of chat and sticking to Twitter. Please refrain from announcing/discussing our picks until the official announcement has been made at the podium. Thanks!
