Here's the incredible value of this game.
It actually holds the value of TWO ADDITIONAL games.
We lead by one. And if we win, not only do we get an extra game lead up to 2 games, but our 2-0 head-to-head with them essentially gives us an extra game lead, and essentially lead by 3 games, compared to the current 1.

Short memory from the last time McCoy and the Redskins faced Dallas on Prime Time.

Four years ago is a long time football wise.

Both teams are different.

I wish all the other people would recognize that when they say stuff like "Team A is 16-4 against Team B, so I definitely pick Team A to win" - as if the teams from 10 years ago resemble or have any relevance to the teams today, in any way shape or form.

Anyway - back to the topic -the point of the tweet was to single out McCoy as highly inferior to Smith.
It's about McCoy and McCoy alone - and he hasn't become any inferior over the last 4 years.
And in fact, he's probably better - because he's learned a lot in the time he's been studying.

This game is about two things...our offensive line controlling the line of scrimmage and our defense containing Elliott.

The first time I really and truly started cooling off on the Redskins was in 2008. That year we started 6-2. We beat the Eagles and the Cowboys in back-to-back road games. Our offense wasn't very good but we could run the ball, our top-ten defense kept us in games, and we gutted out a lot of one-score wins early on. It looked like, after several years of futility, the ship was finally starting to right itself.

We all know how that season ended.

All I can say is this team this year looks awfully familiar.

27-17 - Skins, so let it be written, so let it be done

So Trent Williams is playing today.

So.... Do you go Bergstrom or Nyseke at RG?

AD shoulder dislocation. Let's go Bibbs.

AP had lost a step anyway, you could see he could not handle the wear of entire season about 2 weeks ago. Thank you AP for one helluva surprising season!

I think maybe Josh Doctson is not a entire bust. He's progressing through the season...just needs a breakout game.

Looks like the answer to whether Colt will be much better than Alex has been answered. He was completely exposed, although I will give him credit for not having a chance to do much work with the 1st team in the short week.

I kinda expected a win tonight, but Dallas wanted it more than we did...plain and simple. I still do not understand the hype surrounding Dak Prescott. This was his 1st 300 passing yard game of the season?

In consecutive weeks, we get robbed of a chance because of a terrible call by the refs!!! If that is not a blatant helmet to helmet contact on Reed, I just don't know what to think.

Edit: I am also reminded of the hold on Fabian on 3rd and long when we had Dak on the run and he threw it away. A totally unnecessary penalty to give them a 1st down.

he never gets separation. tehre are slower receivers in the league who nevertheless perform at a high level running precise routes. you'd think Josh would focus every nano-second on that by now.

There were a few questionable calls against us, and of course at least 3 non calls on Dallas.

All true Miles. The defense nevertheless wasn't good enough tonight.

The margin for error in this season is slowly slipping away. I kinda thought they'd lose tonight, but I thought it would be a close game. Not the case. It was ugly.

Funny! Danny has made him rich enough that that should not be an insurmountable obstacle!

And then there is us. In the end, poorer for the experience.

Not over yet. I'll keep to that while clicking my heels three times.
