Well, it looks like France was the best team in this cup. I did not see them play a single game in the round of 32, but they easily overcame the hardest path to the finals in the elimination round to win it all. They deserve it, as much as I hate to admit it.

Yep, they were certainly the better team and they showed it in the early rounds. I was really hoping for Croatia to pull it off, but that own goal and somewhat questionable decision on the PK (imho) really took the air out of their tires. They dominated that match.
