I always heard the best time to buy a TV is just before the Super Bowl. Is this true or is there a better time? My father is looking to purchase a flat screen and is in no hurry.

Honestly, these days.......just watch for the deals. When you find the right TV at the right price, just pull the trigger.
Oh, and unless you NEED the best TV for your job or something, don't overthink it. There are some really great sets out there that you can find for a good price. Just stay with names you generally know....(Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Vizio)
