REDSKINS-COWBOYS GAME NOTES

· The Washington Redskins fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 38-14, in front of an announced crowd of 91,712 people at AT&T Stadium on Thursday.

· The Redskins held the Cowboys to 93 net passing yards and have now allowed fewer than 100 net passing yards in back-to-back games for the first time since Weeks 5-6 of the 2004 season.

· Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 26-of-37 passes for 251 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for a passer rating of 84.4.

· With two touchdown passes, Cousins pushed his passing touchdown total this season to 21, making him the first quarterback in Redskins history to record three consecutive 20-touchdown seasons.

· Cousins started his 44th consecutive regular season game for the Redskins, adding to the second-longest streak by a Redskins quarterback since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, trailing only Joe Theismann (60 from 1980-84).

· Wide receiver Ryan Grant recorded a career-high 76 receiving yards on a career-high-tying five receptions. His previous single-game career high in receiving yards was 61, set against Philadelphia in Week 1.

· Grant caught a 20-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter.

· The touchdown reception was Grant's fourth of the season, adding to his existing career high.

· Grant's four touchdown receptions are now tied with Chris Thompson for second-most by a member of the Redskins this season.

· The Redskins have now scored a touchdown in 48 straight games (including postseason play), adding to the fourth-longest streak in team history. Washington entered the week with the third-longest active streak in the NFL.

· Wide receiver Josh Doctson recorded a 14-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter.

· The touchdown was Doctson's team-leading fifth of the season.

· Doctson has now recorded a touchdown reception in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.

· Doctson became the first member of the Redskins to catch a touchdown in back-to-back games since DeSean Jackson in Weeks 11-12 of the 2016 season.

· Wide receiver Jamison Crowder caught five passes for 67 yards.

· Crowder has now surpassed 65 receiving yards in five straight games for the first time in his career. He is the first member of the Redskins to post five straight 65-yard receiving games since Pierre Garçon in Weeks 12-16 of the 2012 season.

· Running back Samaje Perine recorded a career-high 31 receiving yards on a career-high-tying three receptions.

· Running back Byron Marshall recorded career highs in receptions (five) and receiving yards (24).

· Marshall also recorded a career-long 29-yard kickoff return, matching the team's longest kick return of the year (Chris Thompson, Week 10 vs. Minnesota).

· Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan started his 108th consecutive regular season game, the longest active streak among active NFL linebackers. Kerrigan has not missed a start in his NFL career.

· Linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons recorded the first half-sack of his career in the first quarter, splitting a takedown of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott with linebacker Preston Smith.

· Smith's half-sack pushed his season total to 5.0, his second-most in a season in his three-year NFL career behind his eight-sack rookie season in 2015.

· The Redskins opened the game by forcing four consecutive three-and-outs on the Cowboys' first four drives. It was the team's first time forcing three-and-outs on four consecutive drives in a game since the third and fourth quarters in Week 17 of the 2016 season vs. the New York Giants. It was the first time the Redskins accomplished the feat on an opponent's first four drives of a game since Week 2 of the 2014 season vs. Jacksonville.

· The Redskins forced a three-and-out on the Cowboys' first possession. The Redskins have allowed only 14 points on opponents' opening drives this season.

· The Redskins defense was held without an interception, concluding the team's longest streak of games with an interception since 2013 (four).

· The Redskins completed their first set of consecutive Thursday contests for the first time in team history. The 2017 season marks the team's first year in which it has played multiple Thursday games.

· The game was broadcast by NBC, NFL Network, and for the first time in Redskins history, on Amazon. Announcing crews for the game included the flagship NBC Thursday Night Football presentation as well as British English, Spanish and Portuguese presentations.
