REDSKINS-VIKINGS GAME NOTES

• The Washington Redskins fell to the Minnesota Vikings, 38-30, in front of an announced crowd of 74,476 people at FedExField on Sunday.
• The 68 combined points were the most by two teams in a game featuring Washington since the Redskins and Colts combined for 76 points in Week 13 of the 2014 season.
• The Redskins gained 394 total yards on offense, the team's third-highest total of the season and its most since Week 6 vs. San Francisco.
• The Redskins finished the contest with two takeaways and only one giveaway. With a plus-one margin last week at Seattle and this week vs. Minnesota, the Redskins have now won the turnover margin in consecutive games for the second time this season (Weeks 2-3).
• With two interceptions on the day, the Redskins have now intercepted multiple passes in back-to-back weeks for the first time since Weeks 8-9 of the 2013 season.
• Safety D.J. Swearinger recorded two interceptions, the first multi-interception game of his career.
• Swearinger's multi-interception game is the first by a member of the Redskins since both Bashaud Breeland and Josh Norman accomplished the feat in Week 16 of the 2016 season at Chicago.
• Swearinger recorded his first official interception as a member of the Redskins in the third quarter. A week ago, Swearinger picked off a two-point conversion attempt at Seattle.
• The interceptions were the seventh and eighth of Swearinger's career and his first since Week 12 of the 2016 season at Atlanta as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
• Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 26 passes on a season-high 45 attempts for 327 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
• Cousins also rushed four times for five yards, scoring two rushing touchdowns.
• Cousins recorded two one-yard rushing touchdowns, his second and third rushing touchdowns of the season.
• Cousins scored two rushing touchdowns in a game for the second time in his career and the first time since Week 16 of the 2016 season at Chicago.
• With his first rushing touchdown, Cousins passed Sonny Jurgensen (10) for sole possession of the second-most career rushing touchdowns by a Redskins quarterback.
• Cousins now has 12 career rushing touchdowns, trailing only Joe Theismann among quarterbacks in team history (17).
• With the performance, Cousins added to his team record for career 300-yard passing games (23, including 22 in regular season play).
• Cousins' 300-yard performance was his fourth of the season and his first since Week 7 at Philadelphia.
• Cousins started his 50th career regular season game, joining Joe Theismann, Sonny Jurgensen, Sammy Baugh, Billy Kilmer, Mark Rypien, Eddie LeBaron and Jason Campbell as the only quarterbacks to start 50 career games with the Redskins.
• Cousins started his 41st consecutive regular season game for the Redskins to tie Mark Rypien (41 from 1990-93) for the second-longest streak by a Redskins quarterback since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. Cousins' streak now trails only Joe Theismann (60 from 1980-84) for the longest in that time frame.
• After being promoted to the team's active roster a day earlier, wide receiver Maurice Harris recorded a 36-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter on his first reception of the season.
• The receiving touchdown was the first of Harris' career.
• Harris became the second Redskins receiver to record a touchdown on his first reception of the season, joining Josh Doctson, who scored a 52-yard touchdown in the same corner of the same end zone on his first catch of the season in Week 3 vs. Oakland.
• Harris' touchdown reception capped a seven-play, 75-yard opening drive for Washington. Washington entered the game tied for third in the NFL with 30 opening-drive points this season.
• The Redskins have now scored on their opening possession in seven of their last eight contests, dating back to Week 2. The Redskins have only been held scoreless on their first possession this season in Week 1 vs. Philadelphia and Week 9 at Seattle.
• Harris finished the contest with a career-high 50 receiving yards on two receptions.
• Tight end Vernon Davis caught a season-high seven passes for 76 yards. His seven receptions were his most since Week 14 of the 2015 season vs. Oakland, as a member of the Denver Broncos.
• Running back Samaje Perine caught a career-long 25-yard reception in the third quarter.
• Running back Chris Thompson recorded a 27-yard reception on fourth-and-two in the first quarter. It was the longest fourth-down play by the Redskins since punter Tress Way's 31-yard pass to cornerback Quinton Dunbar in Week 3 of the 2016 season against the New York Giants.
• Thompson rushed nine times for 26 yards and added three catches for 41 yards. He remains the team's leader in both rushing yards (277) and receiving yards (494, adding to his career high).
• Thompson is now tied with A.D. Whitfield (494 in 1967) for the 10th-most receiving yards in a single season by a running back in team history.
• Wide receiver Jamison Crowder recorded receptions of 36 and 32 yards. Including a 41-yard catch in Week 8 prior to missing Week 9 with a hamstring injury, Crowder has now recorded a 30-yard reception in each of the last two games in which he's played for the first time since Weeks 11-12 of the 2016 season.
• During the performance, wide receiver Ryan Grant (279) surpassed his previous single-season career high of 268 receiving yards in 2015.
• Wide receiver Josh Doctson set a career high with four receptions, gaining 30 yards.
• The Redskins scored 17 first-half points. Prior to the game, the Vikings had not allowed 17 or more points in a single half all season.
• The Redskins went 3-of-5 on fourth-down conversions.
• The Redskins converted three fourth downs in a single game for only the fourth time since 1991 and the first time since Nov. 4, 2012, vs. Carolina. That contest also marked the last time the Redskins had recorded five fourth-down attempts in a single game.
• The Redskins were held without a sack, snapping a streak of 32 consecutive regular season games with a sack dating back to Week 10 of the 2015 season. Entering the day, it was the longest active streak in the NFL.
• The 32-game regular season sack streak stands as the second-longest in Redskins history, trailing only a 60-game stretch across the 1984-87 regular seasons.
• The Redskins allowed a touchdown on Minnesota's opening drive, snapping a streak of seven straight games without allowing any opening-possession points, the team's longest since the final seven games of the 2007 season. Prior to the drive, Washington had not surrendered any opening-drive points to opponents since allowing an opening drive touchdown in Week 1.
• Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan started his 105th consecutive regular season game, the longest active streak among active NFL linebackers. Kerrigan has not missed a start in his NFL career.
• Long snapper Nick Sundberg appeared in his 100th career regular season game.
• Kicker Nick Rose recorded a career-high three field goals on three attempts, including a career-long 55-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
• Rose's 55-yard field goal was the Redskins' longest of the season and the longest by a Redskins kicker since Graham Gano's team-record 59-yard field goal vs. San Francisco on Nov. 6, 2011.
• Perine recorded a 28-yard kickoff return in the first quarter, the longest of the season by a member of the Redskins until a 29-yard return by Thompson in the third quarter.
• The Redskins and Vikings met for the seventh time in the last eight seasons. Since 2010, the only year in which the teams have not played one another was 2015.
• The game marked the second straight year in which the Redskins and Vikings have played at FedExField in Week 10. The Redskins earned a 26-20 victory against Minnesota in Week 10 of the 2016 season.
• The game evened the Redskins' all-time record against the Vikings at 13-13, including postseason play.
