    · Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 14-of-21 passes for 234 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for a passer rating of 116.0.

    · Cousins helped engineer an eight-play, 77-yard game-winning touchdown drive, the sixth fourth-quarter come-from-behind win of his career.

    · Cousins eclipsed 4,000 passing yards this season during the contest, becoming the first player in team history with multiple 4,000-yard passing seasons (2015 and 2016).

    · Cousins (4,045) passed Brad Johnson (4,005 in 1999) for third-most passing yards in a single season in team history.

    · Cousins threw a touchdown pass in a 12th straight game to tie for the fifth-longest streak in team history.

    · Cousins threw a touchdown pass in his 17th consecutive road game. His 16-game road streak entering the day already ranked as the second-longest in team history. Cousins has thrown a touchdown pass in every road game since earning the starting role prior to the 2015 season.

    · Cousins now has 23 passing touchdowns this season, tied for the 10th-most touchdown passes in a single season in team history.

    · With his last completion of the game, Cousins tied Billy Kilmer (953) for sixth-most career completions in team history.

    · The touchdown was Jackson’s 22nd career 60-plus-yard touchdown, moving past Devin Hester (21) for sole possession of second-most total touchdowns of 60 yards or more in NFL history. He is one shy of tying Jerry Rice (23) for the most in NFL history.

    · The touchdown was also Jackson’s 26th career 50-plus-yard touchdown, tying Steve Smith, Sr. (26) for fourth in total touchdowns of 50 yards or more in the NFL since the 1970 merger.

    · The pass from Cousins to Jackson was the longest by members of the Redskins since the duo connected for an 81-yard touchdown pass at Philadelphia in Week 3 of the 2014 season.

    · Jackson has now recorded a reception of 50 yards or more in three consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 6-8 of the 2009 season as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

    · Garçon extended his streak of consecutive regular season games played with a reception to 99, the fifth-longest active streak in the NFL. Seventy-one of the games in Garçon’s streak have come with Washington, the third-longest streak by a member of the Redskins since the 1970 merger.

    · During the contest, Garçon passed Michael Westbrook (4,280) for 10th-most career receiving yards in team history.

The defense is a bit of a mess with the scheme, injuries and a talent deficit.

But on offense we are still leaving SO MANY plays on the field.

Kirk Cousins missed Pierre Garcon for a big play early in the game, and Fred Davis was open for a TD that he missed in the red zone.

And of course Dustin Hopkins missed another field goal.

This guy started out in Washington looking like a pro bowl performer, but after he missed those 2 kicks in the Cincinnati game, he is now so tentative you close your eyes whenever he comes on the field.
