Burner's Burning Questions: Week Six Grades, Evaluations, Questions

Some of those interceptions are just flat out bad choices but Kirk has a bit of gunslinger in him. Sometimes it looks like he see's just fine but is trying to push his limits to find out what those limits are. If you never try to exceed that you never will.
Most interceptions of all time - Brett Farve. Many a time Mike McCarthy buried his head in his hands, "WTF are you doing, Brett?"
I'm not saying Cousins = Farve but he does have a similar. 'This outta work' mentality. And he really hasn't played much in terms of how long a QB's career can be and what the learning curve is. Mostly as time goes by, both the bad and the good tend to improve. Mostly.

The top active QB - (#21) Drew Brees (209). Not including this year, Drew (4 so far) has averaged 14 Int's a year. Granted he's also averaged 31 TD's a year which is why a QB who throws up that many interceptions keeps a job for 15 years. Kirk, not including this year (6 so far) has averaged 7 Int's against 12 TDs a year but he has other guys on his team that can do things like run - he doesn't need to be a one-man show, there's some support. And 3 of those Int's were from the first two games when the Air Coryell revival experiment was in place.

Sometimes these guys will cost you some wins. Sometimes they'll save you from losses.
