Game Notes: Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys

· With a regular season record of 9-7, the victory gave the Redskins their 39th winning season in team history. It marked their 24th nine-win season in team history, the franchise’s first since 2012.
· The Redskins have now posted four consecutive wins for the first time since winning seven straight to close the 2012 season.
· The Redskins’ have now won three consecutive road games for the first time since winning the final three road games of the 2012 season.
· The Redskins set a new team record for completion percentage in a season (69.5), surpassing the previous mark of 66.5 set in 2014. The team also added to their team record for completions, finishing the season with 386.
· With 437 yards of offense, the Redskins tied a team record by posting a third consecutive game with 400-plus yards of offense, matching three-game streaks in 1949, 1981-82, 1983 and 2013.
· The Redskins tied a team record with 21 first-quarter points, set previously four times including most recently on Sept. 19, 1999 vs. the New York Giants.
· Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 12-of-15 passes for 176 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 155.1. He exited the game in the second quarter.
· Cousins finished the 2015 season having completed 379-of-543 passes (69.8 percent) for 4,166 yards with 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a passer rating of 101.6.
· With the effort, Cousins (4,166) broke Jay Schroeder’s team record for passing yards in a single season (4,109 in 1986). He broke the record on a 28-yard pass to wide receiver Jamison Crowder in the second quarter.
