REDSKINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES


LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves:

The Redskins signed the following free agent:

TE Alex Smith


The Redskins placed the following player on their Reserve/Injured list:

TE Derek Carrier


The Redskins waived the following player from their Reserve/Injured list with an injury settlement:

S Trenton Robinson


The Redskins released the following player from their practice squad:

RB Christine Michael

Man, that kid has been all over the place...Dallass trades Seattle something for him, they release him, we sign him, then release him. That's a long road to travel.
 
At this time of the year, it is what it is guys. Injuries are everywhere and the pickins are slim...
 
Well, obviously not in frequency, but more in totality.

I was talking about his whirlwind journey from the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, to the Mid-Atlantic in such a short period of time.

It will be interesting to see if he gets a last chance on a practice squad...this time, San Diego? :laugh:
 
Michael is actually back in Seattle. Apparently he has maturity issues which is one reason he moves around a lot. Another is he's just good enough for teams to deal with his boneheadedness.

Anyway, Seattle is pretty desperate & really scratching to get a RB till/if Lynch comes back this year.

Not surprised by this at all. Glad to see Dallass got raked over the coals for a 5th round pick. Haha!
