You keep your head above water heading into those December games in the division in December and you give yourself a fighting chance.

Realistically, I think 6-6 going into the Bye is a possibility. The problem with that is that based on how Dallas looks, it would not leave you much margin for error in the division games, especially against them.

Based on the strength of the schedule outside the division, we might be staring at a scenario where we have to go 6-0 in the East to get it done this year. It's either that, or you steal a few games against the likes of the Bills, Packers, Chiefs, Seahawks, and Bucs.

I'm still in disbelief of ending the season with 5 straight divisional games. Does anyone else in the NFL have this type of schedule? Certainly no one else in the NFC East.

Given that we seem to have a tendency to start slow and play better down the stretch, I think it has to be a positive for us that the games that matter most are at the end of the season. I don't know if they did this with any other team or not. My biggest concern is whether we can keep pace with the other NFC East teams prior to that.

There are definitely pros and cons to it. The pessimist side of me worries about having key injuries during this time. It would be a pretty big blow. Of course, if one of the other teams has some key injuries it could be good for us.

To me, the absolute must have games before the division run are Atlanta, New Orleans, Carolina, and at least one of Denver/Oakland. You then have to steal one vs. Buffalo, KC, Green Bay, Tampa, and Seattle, while playing the others tight. You do that and you are setting yourself up to head into December feeling pretty good about yourself and your chances vs. the East. Moral victories will matter for this group this coming December.

If we somehow manage this run of games, you are definitely playoff ready at least.

Well, isn't that cheerful?

Guess it gives something else to talk about tomorrow, huh?

Hopefully Ronnies usual slow start is out of the way and we build off last week

Sink or swim we’ll find out what this team is made of.

As shitty as the defense has been they may as well live and die by the blitz moving forward. It’s not like they can’t stop or contain big plays anyways.

I’d tell Turner to design a hurry up/no huddle that compliments Heineken’s abilities. That way Turner has less time to call a stupid play that’s destined for failure.

This shouldn't be shocking, our strength of schedule is absolutely BRUTAL, and we've been talking about that for months now.

The first 4 games didn't go as hoped, so it aint looking good...

Oddly, our record is pretty much what I expected it to be...

But the way we got to it is not how I expected it to be.

The fact we could EASILY be 0-4 right now is very concerning.

On the other hand, our Offense is better than I expected it to be, and I think it'll only get better as Heineke beds in, when we get Logan back and as Curtis comes up to speed.
And surely our D can't be this bad all season? They'll turn a corner eventually... won't they? please?

So to, I think you could make the argument that we could easily be 3-1 with a few plays on the part of the defense or just protecting the ball.

Seahawks have a worse record than ours. But, I know they are still dangerous.

When do we get Sweat back?

SEA almost seems to be imploding at this point, if we continue to play the way we did the past 2 weeks with good run/pass differential we'll get the W

This thread is seeming very prophetic at the moment.

The WFT has only lost to one team without a winning record: The 5-6 Saints.

Washington may end up with 8-9 wins, which is where most of us had them in the offseason. If the WFT keeps up this level of play could see them winning 3 of the 5 division games, which would make winning in Vegas a pretty big deal.

Did anyone listen to the Keim Report today?

I hadn't realized how the schedule royally screws us over the next 3 games!

We have Las Vegas this weekend on a short week for us (We played last night, where they played on Thursday last week)

Then we have Dallas, who play Thursday this week, so they'll have 10 days rest before they play us.

Then we have the Eagles coming off a Bye.

We may be peaking at the right time, but this may be our toughest test yet. Might not be a gauntlet of tough QB's and teams, but the turnaround on each of the next 3 games heavily favors our opponents, especially when we hit the Eagles in 3 weeks time.
