Just like the title says.....

what are some controversial things you really believe that most won't?

Just like every other thread: Keep it clean. Be cool. Be respectful....

I'll start.

Motorhead is one of the most overrated bands of all time. If they didn't have Ace of Spades they would be completely overlooked and disregarded.

I had to google some top ten lists and I'll be danged, Motorhead was either on them or ranked in the "close" too category for all time. I will concur with Mike's assessment, definitely overrated.

Tool I will add is overrated

Yeah, I've always thought that. It's definitely one of the great conspiracies/controversies/mysteries of all time. I wasn't alive at the time, so I'll admit my opinion is colored by the things I've heard, but I'm with you in that there was more than meets the eye there.

MikefromOH on a thread roll!

Are you ready?

Chase Young was the wrong Washington pick in 2020.

oh gtfo!!

Nobody was taking Herbert at 2 and he's the only one that could be even close to the argument. Hindsight being what it is you can make that argument (and i disagree completely) but there was no way ANYONE takes Herbert at 2 over Young. Young was the pick.

You butter me up...then you slam the hammer down! Well played, sir.

who would you have picked? I completely disagree, but you have my curiosity.

Obviously I am talking about Justin. Whether anyone knew what he could be is irrelevant. They should have known. And he should’ve been the pick. And of course it’s hindsight. If you’d rather I phrased it ‘Herbert would’ve been a better pick’ that works too.

I know how good Young is. Doesn’t matter. A pass rusher, even a HOFer can never have the impact on a team’s future success that a really good QB can have.

Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, and Von Miller will disagree with that statement. Each of those men are heavily responsible for their teams winning super bowls.

Herbert had a good year...let's see how well he does his second year. People were game planning for Young since his first snap due to his hype. He controlled the outcome of games.

And Young was a non-factor in our playoff game, while a really good QB performance nearly pulled off the upset.

Young is constantly double teamed...he is always a factor even if he is just taking an extra person away from being blocked. Ask Payne how much he benefited from it.

Dan Marino, Drew Bledsoe, Philip Rivers, Alex Smith....none have rings and were amazing QBs.

Stop changing my argument :) I didn’t say all it takes to be successful is to have a great QB. I said that drafting Herbert would’ve had a far bigger impact on our long-term success than Chase Young can have.

Nirvana would have never been anywhere near as big as they were if Dave Grohl didn't join as the drummer.

I don't think that's controversial at all, while I enjoy Bleach the drum work is not nearly as good as what Grohl brought, and without the intensity of the work on Nevermind I can't see Nirvana being as big

Iphones are overrated and people just are conditioned and hypnotized into the belief there products are superior.

New subject. Has anyone heard the radio and tv talkingh eads make any mention of the D Watson sex assault allegations? The silence is deafening.

There's a few blurbs on ESPN.com here and there Chester but you are accurate in at least the news I listen to hasn't really said a peep.
