I see the good guys bouncing back in this one. Haskins has the best performance of his young career. Gibson and McLaurin scores pave the way.
 
Interesting with Cam being listed as no. 3 behind Inman. I wonder if the fumble, and the lack of playmaking, has Steven Sims Jr in the doghouse a bit. At one point Stroman was back to field a punt, but saw Sims back later in the game.

I think Cam made some questionable decisions outside the fumble. He grabbed one kickoff barely catching it before going out of bounds around the 5 and then proceeded to get tackled before the 20 if I remember correctly. That's definitely one you should let go. No room to run and the ball either goes out of bounds for a penalty or you get a touchback.

I'm assuming you mean Steven Sims Jr? Cam Sims did not return punts
 
The defense is gonna struggle with Apke playing safety. Dude is practicing social distancing back there.

The o-line play is what’ll make or break Washington. Hell it can’t get much worse, only place to go is up

Exactly, while the defense isn't fantastic, until the o-line can let the team get more than 3 yards on the ground consistently and give Haskins at least time to make a 3 step drop and release, this team is looking a 4-12.
 
Did I miss something? When did Moses get hurt?

Charles not practicing is not good. I don't know why he's not on IR.


 
Moses is ALWAYS hurt...he is either hurt during a game, or he is on the sidelines. it is one of my biggest pet peeves about him.

I am not confident about this game. Maybe its because I live in Cleveland, maybe its because I saw how terrible we were at getting containment on the running game last week. Chubb and Hunt are good...really good. We are not on offense.

But, I'll be watching. Always watching...
 
He has had a lot of lower leg issues, but to be fair, he’s played hurt probably more than any guy on this roster so I’ll give him some ups for that. He’s a tougher player than he gets credit for being imho. My beef with Moses ya always been that, for an experienced player, he makes way too many mental mistakes and stupid penalties.

I agree that he's a soldier with that, but Morgan Moses @ 75% is not what we need... I give him credit for grinding, but how bad is that holding other stuff back?

No idea how he played against the cards but dude was a bully against Philthy. At least in the clips I viewed that highlighted him.
 
its the inconsistency and always hurt that get to me most. Last year I don't think there was a single game he didn't hobble off for at least a few plays.

The O-line as a whole struggled in Pass Pro. Haskins had very little time to throw if he had to let any play truly develop. Run game was 'better' but still not there, but pass pro was not good.
 
Ok gotcha. Hope they figure it out before the qb’s are mauled to death...you know every DC in the league has taken note of the success blitzing against em.
