Top 50 NFL Coaches of All Time List

This list is out of control!

The first thing I noticed was Mike Ditka was on the list ahead of Bill Walsh...who they had at 39. Bill Walsh as the 39th best coach of all time? I know there are other sports to consider, but 39?

And when I saw Landry, and Shula ahead of Gibbs...who they had at #30 because of his 2nd stint, I just shook my head. His 2nd stint was not as impressive as winning 3 Super Bowls in 10 years, but he sure did bleed a turnip from that group.

They also had Barry Switzer ahead of him...that's right, Barry Switzer. He deserves a lot of credit for what he did at Oklahoma, but 26th on a list of top 50 from 4 major sports?

In women's basketball they honored Pat Summit, but she didn't achieve what Gino Auriemma did at CT. Why does she sit almost 20 spots ahead of him? He won more National Championships in far less time than she did.

Pete Newell at #7 ? Who the **** is he?

Don Shula at #7 ahead of Bill Belichek, even our beloved Gibbs? Bill Walsh? And that's just football.

A notable that was neglected from the list was Nick Saban...sorry, but if you're going to include some obscure basketball coach who only won a single national championship at #7 overall, while ignoring the titles that Saban has won...I have to question the objectivity. I don't even like Nick Saban!

Anyway, my rant notwithstanding, here's the top 50 coaches according to Bleacher.

Casey Stengel 30 spots ahead of Bobby Cox is a joke too. The only reason he even makes the list is because he won 7 championships. The problem with that, is those Yankees teams would've won if you or I coached them.
