East London resident Martin Le-May captured this incredible photo of a baby weasel on the back of a green woodpecker in Esssex, England, on Monday.As much as we’d all like to believe this is a wondrous tale of friendship wherein two mates go on an epic adventure featuring a baby weasel and his magnificent flying steed, sadly it’s NOT.

It’s a photo of a weasel trying to kill a woodpecker.

I had a thought today about a time when I will have to say goodbye to my family because I'm dying for whatever reason....
And I broke down in tears. I love this boy more than anything in the world and his brother will be no different. My life has changed dramatically to the point where I think twice before I act against someone else.
 
If Andromeda were brighter, this is how it would look in the evening sky. Distance to Earth is 2,538,000 light years.

Every day when we get home I "let him loose" to run around the cul de sac and do whatever he wants.

He runs to the neighbors, he plays in his water feature, he yells at me, and he uses up all his energy.

This is my soul...
 
Just an FYI that there's supposed to be an eclipse tomorrow. Could make for some good pics.

Good cause my iPhone 5 takes shit pics.

When you come up make sure you have plenty of memory cards for storage! So much scenery you'll probably get turf finger from snapping so many pics.

Yeah, that finger is pretty callous with as many as I have of the boy. Took him for hist first pony ride, then to watch jets land, and finally to the river while he threw rocks into the water for about 45 minutes...about 700 shots later.
