What's for Dinner?

Cinnamon rolls look awesome, SS.

Onion rings prepped for tonight.

Ribeyes on the grill, onion rings w/ homemade chipotle sauce, and a garden salad.

What Chris said ... that looks amazing!

Chili tonight - beef cubes, bacon, home grown jalapeno, and black beans along with the usual suspects...

Red Beans and Rice here. Haven't made it in a while, looking forward to it. Perfect meal to sit on the range whilst warching the game.

The Guiness sounded good. As for the wings, we're growing habaneros in the garden this year, I may hit you up for some hot sauce advice later on. Love me some hot wings.
Not sure if had sent you this before, but my neighbor turned me on to it. It was love at first bite. Fiery, hot, lingering love.

You might start with half the called for peppers. 6 will still get the job done. Unless you're already familiar with the habanero's.

Only thing I did was completely omit the mustard. You can tweak it however you like.

That's absurdly easy, thanks Ax. My family does not enjoy hot sauce, so I will have this all to myself, glad it lasts a while. :)

Wife made this potato & chicken soup that was awesome. Had potatos, diced chix breast, celery, carrots, cream of chix soup and bacon. Poured it over some mushed up biscuits (red lobster recipe box) & voila.

Chris, onions are the devils vegetable...bleh. Ribeyes and garden salad sounds great tho.

Last night was grilled swordfish, grilled string beans, and roasted rosemary potatoes.

peppers.jpgTrying my hand at Pickling Peppers (not a whole Peck though) today. In a few weeks, I will let you know if I succeeded.

Hey Ax, made this today. Took a small taste and I'm still sweating. This is gonna be effing great on Red Beans and Rice, burgers, etc. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm gonna love it. I may marinade some chicken in it when the fam is elsewhere (will be too hot for them).

Gonna bake up some fresh salmon, boiled potatoes, green beans with sweat tea to down it all.

Today's catch is tomorrow's dinner ...baked salmon with corn and Mac- n-cheese. BTW mine is the bigger one.....just sayin.image.jpg

Fresh Alaskan salmon?

Child, please.

Oh it's the shiz McD5!

Experimenting with marinades. Bag 1 has butter, soy sauce, garlic powder, teriyaki, honey and salt.

Bag 2 has butter (mission essential), red and black pepper, salt, curry and Italian seasoning.

I love fish - that sounds amazing.

Went to the fair to see a buddy of mine last night with some friends after the O's game. He was running the Booster Club French Fries stand.

Anyway, he had some of the halibut and salmon he'd caught in Alaska with him so at the end of the night when they were done with the stand before they cleaned up shop, he dropped about couple pounds of halibut and salmon in the deep fryer. Deeeeeeeeeelicious!
