Will the Redskins win on the road to climb to .500, or will their woes continue with the Bucs dropping them to 1-3 to start 2012?

the Redskins need to win this game. The Bucs have a solid DL and individual play-makers dotted on the roster, but they are not a solid overall club yet. In other words they are a team at the Redskins level.

With Atlanta and the meat of the schedule coming up this game is the potential firewall to a free fall. Lose here and this club could be 1-5 or 1-6.

Hopefully we get out of here with a 20-14 win.

the OL is definitely the key in this game because the DL is what has kept the Bucs in their first few games. and these guys are more talented with McCoy, etc. than what we saw from the Bengals.

Said it in another thread, but my gut tells me the Skins lose big this week. Bucs DL will dominate our OL, and the offense won't be able to get going. On defense...Josh Freeman is good enough to burn our bad secondary, and Mike Williams & VJax should have a big day. Arrelious Benn should have 60-80 yards and a TD also.

maybe this is the game we get Briscoe on the field and try and get some things going on the slant and down the field to take the bite out of the pass rush late and we can then run the ball and eat away at a lead and take the game?

I like the idea of getting both Hankerson and Briscoe on the field at 6'2 and 6'3 in a game where Garcon likely won't play.

Since we are growing with RG III this season why not come out and use our younger receivers to see what they can do with mismatches on 5'10 and 6'0 corners?

Time to take some risks here.

Also, perhaps some two tight end with Paulsen kept in to help Black and Davis running down the field?

That might be nice to see as well.

We should win this one by 7. But the truth is, I have no idea what to expect.

I don't think Tampa will get into the 30's. Their OL will give up pressure to our front and Freeman is not as accurate as Brees or Dalton.

Being a complete homer and refusing to believe we'll start 1-3.

I believe our defense will be better this week. I have no reason to believe it, but I believe it.

Tampa's worked all week on how to defend the option.

Which is why we're gonna go over the top on their ass.

Oline gives a "Who were those guys?" performance, to the shock of many.

Pride, in the form of Superman, jumps in the shorts of the defense, who holds Tampa to 13 points.

Add in 24 points scored by Robert and his offensive cohorts, and the defensive/special teams score isn't even necessary.

But we'll take it.

31-13

This will be a shootout. It'll be whichever QB is on, but we can make Ryan Leaf look like Sammy Baugh right now.

Bucs 38
'Skins 31

I said it in the blog, we win big. I truly believe we come out and hit on all cylinders in this game. even Haslett calls a good game against their offense. the only concern I have is not Vincent Jackson, but if they can get LeGarrette Blount going on offense, that could be the difference for them. Doug Martin lining up wide could be dangerous too, but if Tampa gets their run game going, we are doomed.

With Tampa's DL, I could very well see every weakness in Danny Smith's unit on full display tomorrow.

Given the fact that Tampa Bay is the only team in the league with a worse 3rd down conversion percentage than the Skins-26% versus our 28%-you may have a point.

This is exactly the type of game we win. And probably convincingly. The fanbase is down and feeling bad about things, watch the D flash some solid play, the OLine will play surprisingly well, I fully expect us to hit on all cylinders and look good.
