Tom Compton promoted to the 53-Man roster

As expected, Tom Compton has been promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. His salary was quadrupled a few weeks ago to keep him in DC, so now his promotion gives the Redskins exclusive ownership of his rights.

I'm assuming he will take Ced Grififn's roster spot (suspended, PEDs).

The rumor on Twitter is that the coaches really like him. I would love to see him get some playing time over Polumbus to see what we have.
 
Has he played any LT? Curious if it's just some insurance due to Trent's leg.
