Here is a scary stat, the four previous times the Redskins have swept the Cowboys (1984, 1987*, 1995 and 2005) they have missed the playoffs the following season.
* 1 Replacement win

1985 Finished 10-6 3rd Place in the NFC East / Missed the playoffs in the final week of the regular season
1988 Finished 7-9 3rd Place in the NFC East / The only losing season in the Gibbs I Era
1996 Finished 9-7 3rd Place in the NFC East / Started the season 7-1 and 8-3
2006 Finished 5-11 4th Place in he NFC East / Worst record of a Joe Gibbs Coached Team
2013 ?????

The Redskins had also never lost at their DC or Maryland stadium, to the Lions.....until this year.
Trends were made to be broken.
