Every week whether it's win or lose we should hand out game balls for offense, defense and special teams. Why you say? Simply put, why not? It should also give us a chance to look at who other members felt were the most significant contributors and a differing perspective, possibly that is.

I'm even going to call Doc Brown and have him fire up the Delorean to 88mph(along with some Huey Lewis to set the mood) and travel back in time to after the Dallas win so we can start with game balls for week 1.

Week 1 Dallas:
Offense: CP, blocking kept McNabb from being murdered

Defense: D.Hall slightly edges Orakpo, both were integral to the win, this was a difficult choice

Special Teams - Gano, could there be anyone else from week 1?

Week 2 Houston

Offense: D.McNabb - great game from the soup assassin

Defense: Carriker - even though the D as a whole gave it up, Carriker and LL played solid, slight nod to Carriker for some key run tackles.

Special Teams - Gano, two fg's and a 50 plus that was negated on the icing, kids got some leg

Well, threads aren't much fun when there's no room for argument. Maybe this coming week. :)

And let's not forget his kickoffs. He was consistently hitting them in the corner and pinning Slaton back.

week 1:
D- D Hall hands down (honorary mention Laron Landry)
O- Moss/Cooley (tie)
STs: Graham Gano (honorary mention Devin Thomas)

week 2:
D- Laron Landry (honorary mention Adam Carriker)
O- Donovan McNabb (honorary mentions: Portis (blocking), Moss, Cooley)
STs- Josh Bidwell (honorary mention: Graham Gano)

Bidwell did do a solid job of punting, I actually didn't even factor that in my equation, good choice. He had a good recovery after the shank in week 1. Can't second guess the LL pick, he was all over the field.
