Does anyone know of any obscure rules about after hours deposits? The reason I ask, is because about 2 hours ago, I went and made a $1,300 cash deposit, and on my online account manager it's only showing a $200 deposit. Do they do that in case someone punches in some absurd number, and it will be right when a human gets it, or did I just get robbed by the ATM?

In my experience, there's always a delay in ATM deposits showing up in the system.

That's the thing that has me worried though, it's not that it isn't showing up, it's just showing up as well below what I actually put in.

Anytime I have ever deposited anything myself (not direct deposit) above 1k, it usually shows up as a smaller amount (couple hundred usually) first. Then they process it and it gets bigger.

Ok, thanks. That's exactly what I was wondering.

put it in the little deposit window and it gets in your account the next business day.
That's what I usually do. I know not to deviate from my normal routine anymore

What is this bank thing you speak of?

Seriously, I would never go back to a regular bank again. NFCU is superior in a million ways, and I hear that's a common thing with credit unions.

Thanks for the heads up Mike, I was hoping it was something like that. It makes sense, people make errors, and it would be crazy for someone to deposit like $200 and accidentally hit $2,000 and get the credit for that.

We are all excited to experience the announcement of draft selections IN REAL TIME TOGETHER. If you feel the need to be the first to 'blurt out' the team's picks you are better off staying out of chat and sticking to Twitter. Please refrain from announcing/discussing our picks until the official announcement has been made at the podium. Thanks!
