PFT: Video, audio surfaces of Williams-Sherman incident

After the Seahawks defeated the Redskins on Sunday, FOX cameras caught an image of Redskins tackle Trent Williams applying an open hand to the face of Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. The folks at Q13, the FOX affiliate in Seattle, have more video and audio of the incident (via USA Today), thanks to the fact that…

Sherman's a bit of a punk. Williams needs to control himself better. I guarantee you nothing pleases a clown like Sherman more than getting an opposing player to lose his cool.

I'm sure we'll got another shot at those guys over the next few years. It'd be nice to be able shut him up.

I wish Williams had actually punched him, but it was more of a very hard, open-handed "moosh."

Trent already texted an apology, and Shirley already said what a great guy Trent was.

But me? Yeah, I'd like to have seen Trent break the mouthy mother****ers jaw.

Honestly, I have no desire to watch the playoffs anymore, just don't give a **** about the games.

But I will enjoy watching whatever team bitch-slaps the Seacocks into submission over and over and over and over and...

Don't worry. Seattle and Wilson are being so over-hyped by the media when they come crashing down they are going to sail to the center of the earth :)

All of these yahoos are saying Wilson is better than Luck and Griffin because his team made it one more round as a rookie?

What a joke. Seattle is a bit more talented in other areas and a bit healthier.

That doesn' reflect on Griffin or Luck.

In fact it make you think when their teams are stronger they can actually go further.

Yeah, the "GREAT" Seattle offense led by the "phenom" had 8 possessions in the 2nd half of the playoff game against us, but could only manage 10 points and 3 of those were from a gimme fumble at the 5 yard line. Granted the last 2 possessions they were trying to run out the clock, but that is still a dismal percentage for such a "GREAT" offense!

I don't understand why its so hard for the media to say "Seattle isn't that good; if RGIII stays healthy the entire game, the Redskins win that game walking away."

Seattle is the media darling right now. The media loves a come-out-of-nowhere story they can beat to death.

Honestly, if we win that game, it's probably us.

Before the playoff game, it was us and they were still on the Seattle tete...

True. There were a lot of people who thought the winner of our game would represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Given Green Bay's kicker problems, SF's Jekyl and Hyde performance, and Atlanta's propensity to choke in the playoffs, it was an idea with some merit, imo.

But I left that game particularly unimpressed with Seattle. They may beat ATL because Matty Ice doesn't get it done in the playoffs for whatever reason, but if they get further than ATL, I don't see them getting to the SB.

I don't see them getting past Atlanta. I don't think Matty Ice is another Romo, in that he is bound to choke. Last year it was the coaching that killed the Falcons against the Gnats. Smith going for it on 4th down a couple of times when they should have punted. The previous 2 years Matt Ryan exhibited nerves. I think this is the year they make it all the way to the Super Bowl. Look how long it took Favre to get in...

I think the Falcons are going to expose the Seahags more than we did. Instead of 2 drives in the 1st quarter, they will continually drive it down Seattle's throat for much of the game. They have so many weapons.

We will not have to listen to anymore about the Seahags after this weekend.

As for the Trent Williams and Sherman incident, it always drives me crazy when I see someone "slap" someone you want to see go down because they think it will cost them less in the long run. If you're going to throw a blow, at least try to take his friggin' head off! Trent will get fined and possibly suspended for that hit so he might as well have driven a punch straight through Sherman's jaw!

Well I guess this disproves the widespread belief that smoking weed results in non-violent behavior
