Official Game Thread: Redskins @ Rams

Smith's units have been subpar for the past 4 years. Somehow he survives.

Reminds me of Joe Walton under Jack Pardee. The offense was scoring NO points and yet week to week Pardee defended Walton as a great offensive coordinator.

Nothing changed until he was gone.

I wonder if it's possible for a few hundred thousand fans to threaten the NFL with a class-action suit for putting those sorry-ass replacement refs on the field and PURPOSELY diminishing their product while still charging full price.

I thought the old refs sucked but these bastages have me on the verge of a full-on conniption fit.

i had a hard time trying to figure out where to put this, certainly didn't want to make yet another thread... so it's going right here.

but... the saints got their asses kicked again. and the 14 garbage time points for the saints in the 4th quarter were similar to week 1; that is to say they add to a final score that doesn't tell the real story, the story that the saints have gotten their asses kicked two weeks in a row by the *gulp* redskins and panthers.

while I think griffin played great for a second week in a row, this is exactly why you don't overreact to one game (positively or negatively). the saints may go 3-13 this year, and turn a shocking upset for the redskins into barely beating a miserable team. i know, people jumped on me for saying that last week, but the saints got whooped by the panthers...

the good news is griffin played great for a second week in a row. which is all this season is about for me. i'm not adjusting my season prediction, just like i didn't adjust it last week. hopefully we can go 3 weeks with griffin looking like a solid, quality QB. it's a sign of good things to come.

Yep. Herr Goodell needs to get his head off Mara's lap and do his job.

We're putting together a donation bake-sale for the home game against the Bengals

collecting money to bring back the refs.
