The last game of the 2011 season is upon us. It started so promising at 3-1 but that beginning now seems like a mirage as the team has won only 2 matches since. In a way, it is fitting that this run end with the Eagles as it was against this same Philly team that the wheels started to come off way back in the 5th game with Rex's 4 INT game that lead to his benching in favor of John Beck for 3 weeks.

The team hasn't been the same since. Or maybe it has. Maybe this is what it was all along.

So...will the team pull one out on the road to equal last year's dismal record of 6-10, further hurting it's draft position? Or will it lose for the 11th time this season and give Mike Shanahan his worst regular season record ever?

Either way, it's the last time to see your Burgundy and Gold Obsession on the field until August so my advice is to tank up now for the long, cold winter of our discontent to come.

Mercifully, it's over.

After season two of Shamahan, I have no reason to believe my assessment of him being VASTLY overrated isn't 100% correct.

Unfortunately, we HAVE to give him at least one more year to prove me wrong. I truly hope he does. But I honestly don't expect it.
