Look, if that McNabb rumor is true, then we gotta get what we can out of him now! Minnesota is desperate! Their window is running out and if they don't get a top quality veteran QB now, they won't have time to groom one before their talent to goes over the hill.

I would hate to see McNabb leave after one season, but the longer his extension is delayed, the more I think he is just biding time here to see how the organization does before he makes his decision. In the meantime Grossman could be serviceable and maybe we can package something next year for Locker when he comes out with what we gain from Minnesota.

I know this is all speculation. I know there are so many variables involved and it seems absurd that we would trade McNabb before his tenure here is even started, but what if it is true and he sees himself in purple already? Then we will have egg on our faces and it will look like nothing has changed. We will have given up a valuable pick for one season with an all-world QB.

This rumor does not make me happy!

honestly I think the only reason we havent signed McNabb to a longer deal or extension is because he wants to see what Manning and Brady gets and go off of that. I dont think he wants to leave.
