First Trip to Shanghai, what are some must do's?

I am heading to Shanghai for work in a few weeks for work, but will have a couple of days to explore as well.

What are some must see/do things there?

How about absolutely stay away from things?

any other travel tips you may have I would be grateful.

I have a coworker who has been out there for a little over a year, I'll email him for some recs.

Apparently he is out of the office until the 21st due to a local holiday; I'll let you know what he says next week.

EDIT: also, I am smoking crack, he's been out there for almost 3 years now. LOL. Time flies as you get older, wow!

I head out tomorrow morning, excited as heck, but worried over the person I am travelling with (She and I are not on good terms with this project, she's on a major power trip that works on most people but didnt on me and she resents it)

Aside from that, this should be awesome!
