Ah, preseason. So sorry to see you go.

And now the cuts have been made too. Oh sure, there may be a few small moves left to be made, maybe even a bigger name to be picked up, who knows.

Now it's time for the real games.

Being a fan is an interesting phenomena. We have no (or very little) true, real connection with the team we live and die for. Speaking for myself, I don't know any players personally, in fact, I've never met any player on the Redskins'...

I always feel like it is worth investing my Fall/Winter to my team. I begin every year with high hopes and watch every game to the last minute.

But, I must admit, last year was one of the toughest (non Spurrier) years. I just wanted the season to end after about week 8. Yet, I sat there like dummy every Sunday with that little sliver of hope that something magnificent would happen. Sadly, it did not. Friends that were non Redskins fans had to sit at my house on Sunday and deal with my pain. Why did they sit there? Probably because I am the only one that has Sunday ticket and we will watch whatever game is on that does not interrupt a Skins game. Hopefully, they will not have to endure another poor season like that this year.
