Bold Redskins Predictions For The Season

McD5: That might require us to either win our division
_____________________________________________

And therein lies the rub McD........that's what its all about as we enter the season. Its doable. The way I see it, if your name is not Peyton Manning, you can't go from last to first. However, I can see where RGIII can make a 3 game difference so 9 wins is totally doable. IF this guy is superman, and theres a greater than zero chance that is true, then the sky is the limit.

As for my bold predictions:

-Skins will go 5-1 in the division

-Skins will have double-digit wins

-Skins will have a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense

-Skins will have 7 combined TDs from special teams and defense

-Skins wrap up a playoff spot by week 14

Griffin will be signed by the time training camp starts. :D

Perry Riley makes the Pro Bowl.

RG3 wins Offensive ROY.

DHall doesn't say anything stupid.

Doesn't get any bolder than this, folks!

(that was just for you, Goaldie!)

I don't know...Sleepy staying away from the mary jane seems equally daring to me...

RG3 will get injured in game one and go to IR for the entire season. The Redskins will finish with a record of 2-14 - tied for the worst in the league. The tie-breaker gives the Rams the second overall pick in the 2013 draft.

As a result, the Redskins will have the first pick in rounds two, four, and six along with the second pick in rounds three, five, and seven. An extra fifth rounder comes via the Pats.

In a major settlement this coming December, the NFLPA agrees to drop the collusion case as the Redskins and Cowboys are given back the money that was taken from them just prior to the opening of the 2012 season (other concessions are made as well - mostly minor).

Griffin outperforms at least one of the other 'star' quarterbacks in the NFC East during the 2012 season and Washington's offense moves up from the 20's to the top 10-12 by the end of the year.

Fred Davis not only avoids the reefer (and suspension), but he has a breakout year with 15TDs and 1100 yards. (earlier prediction)

With Helu & Royster hampered by injuries, Alfred Morris goes over 1000 yards rushing for the season and adds 10TDs.

RG3 doesn't commit a turnover until week 8.

Pierre Garçon is a top-5 WR this season, going over 1200 yards.

Brian Orakpo actually draws more than one holding penalty.

Tim Hightower returns in mid-September and ends up leading the team in rushing TDs

The Niles Paul experiment fails miserably

RG3 has one TD reception...thrown by Aldrick Robinson...after Banks gives him the ball off a double reverse...and it will be on Thanksgiving Day against the Cowboys...to end the 1st half

Reed Doughty makes the Pro Bowl....hahahaha....nah just kidding

Rumors start swirling in November that Phillip Daniels may be leaving to take a college coaching position.

Redskins will look regrettably back toward their week 6 loss to the Viking when they finish 9-7 and just miss the playoffs

Chris Cooley will score a td that wins us a game sometime this season.

Billy Cundiff doesn't last the year as Redskins kicker.

Danny Smith will overdose on Big League Chew.

Lanky didn't bump it, but my ego is too big. Yeah, so what if I got Philly wrong...

As Meatloaf would say:

"Cause two out of three ain't bad..." lol

bold...eh?

we sweep the Boys, Gints and Iggles.

SOOOO close!

Well done, El.

I didn't bother with bold predictions because either somebody else beat me to the one or two that popped into my head (RG3 winning OROY) or I really didn't think the season we had was even possible. Winning 7 in a row AFTER the Bye? YOWZA! Winning the division with a rookie QB? A pipe dream. Gonna half to leave my skepticism at home before we make the 2013 predictions if I wanna keep up with you guys.

My bold prediction is that Aldrick Robinson will surpass Hankerson on the depth chart before the season ends, and will have a better year statistically, as well

That's ridiculous! ;)

Griffin will step into a puddle of water, disappointing a large number of fans. They will be shocked that he, like most humans, can only walk in water, not on it.

Even funnier this year
