I hope I'm not stepping on the toes of the venerable Boone, who created this thread last season. But.....there's a reason why.

When I saw this thread last season, I raced into it to post something I felt positive about. Without a doubt, it was going to happen.

Lo and behold, Boone posted exactly the same thing I was going to post. Not this year, Mister.

Okay, let's have them. Both good and bad. What is your gut telling you about the team as a whole....or about any individual player or coach this season?

Be brave. Impress us!

I have a few really positive predictions, but my gut is unfortunately telling me one thing that I have to say before Boone once again steals my thunder.:crown:

Josh Morgan will be done with a serious injury by game 8 this season.

Who's next?

Bad news prediction: none of our DBs ends up with more than 5 INTs.

Good news prediction: Rak and Kerrigan combine for more than 30 sacks.

Paloffs baby!

That might require us to either win our division, or to have a better record than Green Bay, Detroit and Chicago.

I could see Detroit possibly imploding this year.

The Redskins have not scored 40 or more points in a regular season game since the 52-17 beat down of the 49ers back in 2005.

They will score 40 or more points in a regular season game this year.

And they'll do it twice. :)

Points? What are these "points" you speak of?

I was half joking when I suggested playoffs and I have tried to remain guarded this year but I feel with a competent, mobile QB with a strong arm back there we are going to probably come close to doubling our win total from last year...9 or 10 wins. And that should be close to if not good enough to win the division unless Philly really breaks out like I think they will.

As for the other potential wild card teams, I think the Lions implode and Green Bay and Chicago should be battling it out for the division.

It's possible El. You and I are thinking alike. Philly also concerns me.

As far as the NFCN teams go, one injury to a QB could kill those teams.

I'm seeing a theme with the number 25. RGIII scores at least 25 TDs, Kerrigan becomes the NFL's first 25 sack guy (somebody's gonna do it, why not our guy?), and we average 25 points per game.

1. FedEx finally becomes a place that isn't friendly for the opposition. Redskins finish with a 6-2 home record.

2. Graham Gano is perfect from within 45 yards this season on field goal attempts.

3. Redskins lead the league in scoring percentage from inside the redzone this season.

Fred Davis not only avoids the reefer (and suspension), but he has a breakout year with 15TDs and 1100 yards.

Our offensive line doesn't allow a sack until week 3 in the 3rd quarter

Griffin will step into a puddle of water, disappointing a large number of fans. They will be shocked that he, like most humans, can only walk in water, not on it.

Pierre Garcon breaks Art Monks single-season reception record with 108 receptions.
Santana Moss adds another 90.
The Redskins are a wildcard team.

He shoots! He scores!

Pierre Garcon in the house!

Ryman will blame any points scored by the opposition on Haslett and our 3-4....even offensive fumbles/interceptions returned for TD's.

Fred Davis' lawyer will finally realize he has a fool for a client

Redskins fans agree that "hopey changey stuff" is a good thing when it comes to finally having a franchise QB

Dan Snyder will come up with yet another get rich quick scheme to monetize the investment in RGIII. Oh wait, already happened.

Redskins manage to scrape their way into the postseason causing Skins fans to scratch their collective heads wondering "Now what's that "paloffs" thing again?"
