Great Job KDwag. I think the fact Peterson is back doesn't make that much of a difference since Toby shredded us a couple years ago and was great in last year's game against us, he rushed for over 100 yards on 11 carries. Watching the highlights this year, Percy Harvin has become a real threat. I think our defense is in for a tough day.

Hopefully our offense can step up and keep pace with them.

Yeah, eight is enough. Time for the home losing streak to end. This will happen due to the end of another terrible streak. Our hapless search for a great young kicker.

Look for Kai to become an instant hero in his first game for us.

Skins baby!
27-24

Well done. The home losing streak needs to end, as does the home losing streak to Minnesota (the third time's the charm). I'm still wondering how much of last week's lower offensive output was due to Griffin being out and the quality of the Atlanta defense versus teams having gotten a bead on what we're doing offensively this year. I'm expecting a lower scoring game, 22-17 ('skins score a touchdown late to take the lead but miss the 2-point conversion, yet still manage to hold off a desperation last minute scoring attempt from Minnesota).

Edit: and, yes Ax, in this scenario Kai has 3 field goals in the game.

I feel more confident this week than last week. Skins by 10. 3rd down percentage improves no missed fgs. and a big game from Fred Davis. Httr

Guys, I didn't mention the home losing streak for a reason...

I believe in the theory of, "If you don't mention it, it never happened".

Thanks for ruining it :(

Jerks.

Kdawg that was rock solid, I've been pondering our third down issue since the statistics after last weeks game were published. I think the reason to why it's been such an issue was previously posted in another thread. We used to have a dependable 3rd down option (when he was healthy), now it seems we have no one you know will find a way to move the chains when necessary. I still fail to see why Moss in the slot doesn't get more attention on 3rd downs, especially in games where the LB's play off his outside shoulder, hello SLANT PASS. Anyway, enough rambling, I agree, we win except I see this game much tighter at 24-20 Skins.

I've always enjoyed the analysis that you provide Dawg. I hope this blognostication will prove to be true. Heck, I want a bigger margin than that - time to be a bit greedy. There is never anything wrong with being a homer - everything you said is true though.

Well done! Hail!
