Seems impossible. I just don't get that part of it. I also don't understand how Romo got zero calls for intentional grounding. I mean isn't one rule for legal intentional grounding that the ball is supposed to pass the line of scrimmage and the qb is supposed to be outside the pocket?

We need to capitalize on these kinds of mistakes! :tantrum:

This is what I was worried about. We are having a hard time scoring TDs. 3 field goals, 1 blocked and can't score. The cowboys played poorly and we can't win. How about the number of bad snaps and not one recovery of a fumble on those snaps? We either do better in scoring or it is going to be a lone season.

Just plain old-fashioned bad luck. Romo is feast or famine - he's either giving games away, or the luckiest bastard in the world - just depends on the week.

we just dont get very many guys coming free, when we do get pressure its because someone made a great play or move. Kerrigan is by far our best pass rusher, I am loving that kid, no joke. Hall needs a swift kick in the jublies on that last drive on 3rd and long DONT TRY TO BE A HERO, JUST PLAY SMART AND TACKLE , but no he bites on the double move and gets burned.

D Hall is as overrated as he usually is.

The Gambler and Bazooka Joe's unit really did us no favors tonight.

I am hoping we trade hall before the trade deadline while he still has some cachet from his one big game last season. honestly, you have to be smart enough to pick your spots otherwise all you do is hurt your team. I wasnt too impressed with 50 closing his eyes on a tackle and getting blown up while felix went on a long run, and Fletch whiffed on a couple tackles too when he took bad angles, I think having a bigger nt would have helped on those plays. Cofield is solid but not a beast and gets washed too much. I admit I got pumped about this game, I always do when its the cowpies.

I think Hall has a problem similar to what Landry had before he was moved back to his natural SS position. I call it "highlight reel" thinking-going for the spectacular as opposed to going for the most useful thing to do. Poor judgment on his part-very poor.

absolutely. thats the best description I have seen.

I don't understand the Cowboys whining about the snaps. They won, yet complaining. Their OL said our DL was calling out the cadence, which probably got from Bowen.

First, with a rookie center the DL is going to do what they gain an advantage. Second, you would think he would know the cadence is coming from in front of him versus behind where Romo is. Also you would think he would know the difference in Romo's voice and the Redskin DL...unless they're great impersonators.

Or possibly a rookie center thinking "God I hope I don't screw up" which sometimes causes people to do precisely that.

ive never understood how he just blatantly doesnt even see the ball sometimes. like he doesnt even react before its hitting him in the face or already behind him.

He has learned not to care. He knows that oddly-shaped ball is going to bounce directly up to him.

When they cut Gurode I laughed at my Cowboys friends (I live in Dallas so I have to work with them too) that they lost the best play in their playbook........the "hike it over Romo's head pick it up on first bounce and throw for a TD" play.

Dam if I didn't see that play again but without the TD. BTW, that game broke Romo's franchise record streak of 20 consecutive games with a passing TD.
