Let’s be honest. Last week was a real downer and our team faces another must win situation. On to the questions for this week.
1. Was that the last time we see Rex as a starter in Washington?
Answer: It all depends on how John Beck performs in upcoming games or if there is an injury. If Beck can do reasonably well, then we have seen the last of Rex.
2. How will this affect the NFC East race?
Answer: It hurt the Redskins more than we can imagine. If the team wins the remaining division games, they will be 4-2. That is a longshot for now, but if it happens, that could be enough to help with a playoff berth.
3. Who would the Redskins target at QB in the draft?
Answer: Let’s focus on this season and start worrying about the draft in a few months. Too, we need to get rid of the idea that Andrew Luck may come to Washington.
4. How will the defense fare against Cam Newton?
Answer: The defense could do well against the rookie, but needs to avoid giving up huge plays. Newton is capable of turning a busted play into a long touchdown in the blink of an eye. Constant pressure from Orakpo and Kerrigan is needed.
5. Should the team sign more OL for depth?
Answer: Probably so. If there are additional injuries, they will have no other choice.
That is all for this week. See you again next Friday.
Hail to the Redskins!
