Two Things

by Goaldeje on 09-13-15 at 07:08 AM
Yeah, I know. It's been a while. But let's be honest: the last two years haven't been much fun for Redskins fans. 2012 was ah-mazing; I've already started to repress 2013 and 14. Anyhow, it's the start of the 2015 season, and I'm sure this will get lost in the shuffle of our first gameday of the season, but I want to get something off my chest.

Two something's, actually.

First, Screw You, Mike Shanahan. Yeah, that one's like a 234986849 on the Obvious Scale,

Manage This. Please.

by Goaldeje on 01-02-15 at 02:23 PM
We've all had managers, yes? Good ones, bad ones, horrendous ones. We've all had people who exert a great deal of control over one aspect of our life, sometimes to the point that it impacts other areas of our life. I apologize in advance, but I want you to remember what it was like when you had your worst manager ever.

You know, the guy who scheduled you at times you specifically requested off? The gal who was unrelenting and demanding, without ever expressing anything but distaste

No one likes a complainer. We all know them. Everyone needs to vent when they are frustrated, but eventually if you aren't offering solutions to the problems, you're just bitching. And no one likes that.

I vented on the BGO forums yesterday. If I offended anyone, I apologize. I am still deeply frustrated by the situation with my beloved football team right now, and now I am ready to offer a solution. It's a big, risky move that Snyder would have to make, but I know it would

Big Shot Bob

Remember Robert Horry? Dude won like 20 titles (all numbers approximate) in the NBA with the Lakers and Spurs, and always seemed to hit a key three or two during a playoff run.Horry had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, and being able to step up and deliver when it mattered the most.

Here's hoping Robert Griffin can deliver when it matters the most.

I'm talking about this weekend. Friends and family of Redskins fans are on suicide watch after

Hope Starts Now

Anyone remember when Matthew Stafford was injury-prone? Could stay healthy? In his first two seasons he played 10 and three games, respectively. In the season opener in 2010 he injured his shoulder, came back on Halloween to beat... the Redskins (sigh), then reinjured that shoulder a week later and was done. He had arthroscopic surgery done on his throwing shoulder and was done until the next year. All the media experts were wringing their hands that this talented kid was injury prone and would
