The answer to your question is the media. Any intelligent football fan goes above and beyond to get any and all info about their team. Hacks on TV do not and they have to cover 32 of them plus...

I agree that a 7 game win-streak to close out the season is probably not going to happen again. On the other hand, I would be surprised if we started out 3-6...
But Williams did things he knew Snyder didn't like and so it wasn't a surprise when that came to light that Gregg was done here.

exactly BT Shannahan is terrible at determining things like that. he also tends to overestimate his own and his coaches abilities. his roster skills are pretty weak as well.
To be fair, no one really got that kind of guaranteed money at that position.
