Burner's Burning Questions - Week Four

Rate this Entry
Can you believe that we will be one-fourth of the way through the 2010 season after Sunday's game? My, how time flies. On to the questions for this week.

1. You are late in posting these questions (and answers) this week. What gives?

Answer: I was without power for nearly nine hours today. Please forgive. Now, can we get to the football questions?

2. Oh, sure. Ok. Last week was a real downer. Is it too early to start thinking of free agency and the draft?

Answer: Yes and no. The coaching staff and front office should keep their focus on this season obviously. However, the scouting department is always evaluating new talent for the future. Let's see how things shake out. As fans, we always have the right to speculate, but let's concentrate on the next game and take it one at a time.

3. Speaking of the next game, how will the fans in Philly greet Donovan McNabb?

Answer: Look for it to be mixed. Undoubtedly, there will be plenty of boos and a lot of anger directed at McNabb. Don't be surprised to see a lot of love as well. Many fans in the Philadelphia area know what he did for that franchise.

4. How much do you think Donovan wants to win this game?

Answer: Donovan wants to win every game, but this one will mean a lot to him. While it may not be fully comparable to Brett Favre's return to Lambeau, this game will be full of emotions and #5 would love to text his former teammates after leading the Redskins to victory. The game is being broadcast from coast to coast - that should give you an idea of its significance.

5. Care to make a prediction for Sunday's game?

Answer: I hate to do this, but...
Philadelphia 33 Washington 21

That's all for now. Look forward to more questions in week five.
