    • The NFC East the Rest of the Way

Thought it would be interesting to compare and contrast the remaining games the NFC East competitors have to navigate the rest of the way. For obvious reasons, not looking at the Giants.

      Redskins
      vs. Texans
      at Cowboys
      at Eagles
      vs. Giants
      at Jaguars
      at Titans
      vs. Eagles

      Eagles
      at Saints
      vs. Giants
      vs. Redskins
      at Cowboys
      at Rams
      vs. Texans
      at Redskins

      Cowboys
      at Falcons
      vs. Redskins
      vs. Saints
      vs. Eagles
      at Colts
      vs. Bucs
      at Giants

So that leaves the Redskins with 3 non-division games against the Texans, Jags, and Titans, the Eagles with 3 non-division games against the Saints, Rams, and Texans, and the Cowboys with non-division games against the Falcons, Saints, Colts, and Bucs.

The Eagles have a serious challenge. They have to beat the Saints and Rams on the road. Good luck with that. They also have road games with both us and Dallas still remaining.

The Cowboys have an easier path with 2 of their 3 remaining division games at home.

But it's the Redskins that have the much easier out-of-division schedule the rest of the way. Note I didn't say 'easy', only 'easier'. If we can win 2/3 or all 3 of the games against the Texans, Jags, and Titans, I think that would seal an NFC division title regardless of what else happens in the division. 3 more wins might win the division. 4 almost certainly will.
