Well, after all the hysteria, and a year of waiting, looks like scientists have finally got the Large Hadron Collider working again. Hopefully, we can focus on the science and we'll be spared all of the end of the world nonsense...

hey i thought i might be the only one getting off on this! my comprehension level is shallow, but will LHC tell us where we came from? will it help us understand genesis? what was the universe like moments after the big bang 13-14 billion yrs ago? was it even the big bang that set everything in motion?

Dammit, I'm almost 50 years old and I still can't look at the name of this thing without thinking it sounds like a porn movie for dyslexics.
