Matt LaFleur's Houston Texan Bio
Matt LaFleur enters his second season on the Texans' coaching staff and his second year in the NFL as an offensive assistant, handling many of the issues facing the coaching staff both on and off the field.
On the field, LaFleur will assist offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan with the Texans' quarterbacks. He worked with the wide receivers in his first season in Houston. Prior to joining the Texans, he worked at Ashland University as the offensive coordinator, coaching the quarterbacks and wide receivers.
LaFleur, 29, began his coaching career at Saginaw Valley State as an offensive assistant in 2003 before taking the same position at Central Michigan from 2004-05. He coached the quarterbacks and wide receivers at Northern Michigan in 2006.
The Mt. Pleasant, Mich., native played quarterback and wide receiver at Western Michigan from 1998-99 before transferring to Saginaw Valley State, where he was a quarterback from 2000-02. He played briefly in Omaha, Neb., and Billings, Mont., in the National Indoor Football League before beginning his coaching career.
LaFleur and his wife, BreAnne, live in Houston.

Neo, I found this one on the Houston Chronicle's site in an article announcing that LaFleur was talking to the Redskins.

We are bringing in a lot of young guys. I like it. Grabbing young guys that are up and coming. Guys that can teach the game and have potential.

What is he 12? He looks younger than our QB. Having young and hungry coaches can be a good thing. I don't really care how young he is as long as he does a good job.Face piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.
