Despite the fact that it is hot enough here to get your steak done medium rare right off the hoof out in the field across the street from my place, I have been spending a fair amount of time outside this week. You see, I have been watching the sky. No, I am all that interested in clouds. Not a weather bug and there have not been any wild storms to view either.
Nope. I have been watching for The Fall.
I was sure it was coming too. It has been predicted everywhere I go
If you know me at all you know I have had my issues with Dan Snyder. I have made no secret of it either. Not in my blog or in my posts to various Redskin fan sites, BGO included. I like to think I am hard but fair where Dan comes in. Unlike some, I have always thought his heart was in the right place, it was just his head that was the problem.

This view has afforded me the option to defend either players or coaches at times when few others will. It also allows me to throw either under the bus.
And this week I am throwing Jim Haslett under the biggest damn bus I can find.
It is the end of the longest short week of the year. You know the one; it follows the most frustrating long weekend of the year. Labor Day weekend. Why frustrating you ask? Well, it is September and a three day weekend and I donít have any football, not even any of the faux pre-season football the NFL tries to pass off as the real deal.
And then we follow the 3 day weekend with a 4 day work week that feels like a month largely because we have had our appetite wetted for our favorite
