  1. Hope Starts Now

Anyone remember when Matthew Stafford was injury-prone? Could stay healthy? In his first two seasons he played 10 and three games, respectively. In the season opener in 2010 he injured his shoulder, came back on Halloween to beat... the Redskins (sigh), then reinjured that shoulder a week later and was done. He had arthroscopic surgery done on his throwing shoulder and was done until the next year. All the media experts were wringing their hands that this talented kid was injury prone and would ...

    The Vikings: QB coin toss

There was a lot of discussion among Vikes fans about Griffin and McCoy-who they thought they might face, and who they would rather face.

Jay Gruden says that RG3 is "very, very, very close" to being ready to start, which means he'll probably start Sunday vs. the Vikes. IMO

that's better for us than McCoy starting. RG3 hasn't played since week 2 and is likely rusty. McCoy is coming off a road win vs. Dallas and

    Week Eight Grades

Welcome to week eight questions and grades as the Redskins put forth an inspired and magnificent effort against their arch rivals from Dallas. The victory was highlighted by heroics from a multiplicity of players who refused to quit at a time when many had given up on the team. Feel free to offer your own grades, opinions, suggestions, and ideas. Also, we have some questions to close out this eighth week of action.

Let’s take a look at the grades. ...

The book on the 2014 Washington Redskins was written. This was a team that was a complete and utter mess. One that couldn’t get out of its own way, one that coughed up the ball as often as it scored touchdowns.

Many fans were even beginning to give up hope. We were doomed for a top 5 pick in the draft. It was time to brace for the pain of another losing season, with little to no positivity for the future.

    Then Monday ...

7 Crucial Waypoints on the Journey to a Redskins Resurgence

Forget ‘7 Minute Abs’, I mean, I’d recommend you go with the 6 minute version anyway. I believe there are 7 crucial actions the Washington Redskins must take if they are to revisit their former days of glory and return to a winning tradition.

Let Griffin be Griffin. We’ve heard it before and we get it. RG3 is reckless. He plays with wild abandon. He can’t slide. He won’t slide. RG-Knee. The ‘Pistol’, ‘Read Option’, running threat QB offense is dead. Griffin can only survive ...

    The Cowboys: Monday Night Madness

So....Dallas is playing their best football in years, the Redskins are playing musical chairs with QBs and generally underacheiving and making way more
mistakes than we fans would like to see and it's a MNF game and Dallas fans are generally optimistic.

Generally, but there is worry underneath that optimism-perhaps surprisingly-but worry nonetheless.

    Be seated.

"Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about Washington wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Redskins love to fight, traditionally. All real Redskins love the sting and clash of battle. You are here today for three reasons. First, because you are here to defend your team and your teammates. Second, you are here for your own self respect, because you would not want to be anywhere else. Third, ...

    The Titans: Star power?

No matter how abysmally the Redskins fail to meet fan expectations other teams fans, especially if their team is similarly disappointing find reasons to fear us.

We have a few players whose stellar pefrformances have definitely not been overlooked by Titans fans.

The Titans have QB questions of their own which, of course, throws everything out of kilter.

Hey all... Happy week #7 of the 2014 NFL season, better known as the
time where the Raiders, Jets, Jags, Rams and yes of course our
Washington REDSKINS' fans start realizing we were all duped again.
Yeah, I'm not known for painting a rosy picture and I fully admit that
I haven't been paying 1/4 of the attention I normally give this team for
the past few weeks, but this is where I'm supposed to talk about the

    Week Six Grades

Welcome to week six questions and grades as the Redskins put forth a lackluster and (yet, another) frustrating game against the Cardinals. The loss was highlighted by a late quarter meltdown from Kirk Cousins and fans of the burgundy and gold are in meltdown mode too. Feel free to offer your own grades, opinions, suggestions, and ideas. Also, we have some questions to close out this sixth week of action.

Let’s take a look at the grades.
