After getting the ol 86 from the Intro thread I figured we could all catch up here.
I will have a pint of Guinness and a shot of Jameson...
please :elvis:
So how is everyone doing this evening?
and when are we gonna change this place's name to whatever we decided on? :)
Man, the place hasn't been open a week and the Nazi's are already deleting posts!

season-enders are just bad dumb luck, it's those strained hammies on day 1 that make me wonder what some players were doing all off-season.

I'll second that. I'm tired of the injury bug every year

today is the 25th anniversary when a man walked in to a McDonalds in SD and opened fire on everyone in sight. I have been by the Mickey D's a thousand times crossing the border and every time I always wonder what that must have been like.
But I won't go in there...

poo like that changes the world forever, mike. every time you go to a public place, you gotta be aware of your surroundings now.

Have two!
My friends are the best friends
Loyal, willing and able.
Now let’s get to drinking!
All glasses off the table!
Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!

Nice, Sarge.
My variation:

A quick death but an honest one.
A pretty girl but an easy one.
A cold pint-- and another one!

What's everybody sippin' on this evening? I'm a basic guy. Got the steaks and portabello's marinating, drinking a Sam Adam's Boston Lager while I wait....

going to The Ould Sod here in a bit to have some pints of Guinness.
I have to tell you that I'm really jealous of how you eat too. Between you and Mark I drool like a saint bernard on my keyboard every time I click the "whats for dinner" thread.
When you're our age Mike, good food and a brew = excitement. We aren't allowed to have 'real fun' anymore :(
Next time you're in North Kakalakee, drop on by, I'll cook you up something :)
When I was younger I had a mirror over my bed.
Now I have one over the kitchen table.
I'm having a Bitburger, maybe three since it was a long week
Marinated chicken on the grill with some maters and cucumbers from the garden
And an after dinner Macanudo, fresh from the humidor

Now I have one over the kitchen table.
Yes - whether in bed or in the kitchen, I've always enjoyed watching myself mince onions.

does anyone get mad when they hear a remake of a song they loved as a kid?
i think 99% of the time it is a cheesy way to go out and of course its a hit..it was a hit when it first came out!!

I will have a shot of Tequila.
I agree with beamish that I don't want to see any season ending injuries and a bunch of pulled hammies next week.
Wow, there's a bunch of drunks in this thread...
Well done, folks. Well done.
I'd join you, but I'm starting to get in shape to see if I want to compete in a BJJ submission tournament in October that I'm sure to get destroyed in. :)

Steak here too last night Boone, although no marinate. Just your basic salt and pepper rub with some olive oil. Baked potatoes and one of my own Honey Pale Ales to wash it down with.

I, as you might say,..don't imbibe, but too many cool people in the crowd make me feel a bit like socializing.
Stirring tonic water on the rocks with a twist of green Tahitian lime if you please.:)

Right now I'm drinking Harp lager, but I'll be glad to have a guiness.
Best beer I ever had: Redskins vs. Texans at Fedex- chilly outside, and that guiness from the tap....best $7 or $8 bucks I ever spent for anything at FedEx

oooh...great idea Deadman.
whats the best beer you can remember? or plural beerS
best beer I can remember off the top of my head was at the Yard House in SD for my 30th birthday and it was called Rogue Hazlenut. I love that beer SO much..

Best one beer I ever had. I think the atmosphere (us winning, cold enough to snow outside but wasn't) just made the guiness taste better. It was a great way to celebrate a great day.:pint:
Although I've had some great times with multiple Red Stripes, usually tailgating with my friends.
Hell, the 6 pack I had before the Steelers game while we were grilling Brats and my special marinated chicken tender loins were the highlights of that dreadful game.
I will have a shot of Tequila.
I agree with beamish that I don't want to see any season ending injuries and a bunch of pulled hammies next week.
Make that two. Living in L.A. once upon a lifetime, Tequila sort of got into the old bloodstream.
I met pez over a bottle of tequila and now we have been married ten years so you single guys might want to beware that teguila can lead to marriage.
The three worst nights of my life revolve around tequila. Damn those were good times. :)

is this thread dedicated to drinking? I need a random thought thread to post a random thought, so I'm assuming this one will do.
This site looks so much better if you scroll down to the little drop down menu on the bottom left of the page and make it say "Explode Fluid". I guess it's just personal preference, but I like it better that way.

good call Robin. I like it better like that too..
Best beer? I don't remember, but it was in Tampa after the Redskins won the playoff game.
That was a great day. Started at a local IHOP for breakfast with our Redskin gear on. Got some good ribbing from the locals. Followed that up with a great tailgate at the park near the Tampa stadium...filled with Redsin fans. Then the win on top of that. Just a great time all around. And I was roasted before it was al over with.
